It will not catch every granule. It is designed to hold the litter that falls near the box and to let you pour it back without a mess.

How it works

1. Place the mat at the exit of the litter box, covering the area where your cat steps out.
2. Litter from paws drops through the top layer.
3. Every few days, open the mat and pour the collected litter back or into the trash.
4. Rinse with water and mild soap and let it air dry when needed.
